Privacy Policy

Memory SoundX ("we", "our", "the app") is operated by Central Domains LLC (Bundle IDs: com.privedigital.MemorySoundx on iOS, com.centraldomains.memorysoundx on Android). This policy explains what information is collected when you use the Memory SoundX app and website, and how it is used.

1. No Account Required

Memory SoundX does not require you to create an account. You can play, track streaks, and accumulate scores entirely without registering. All gameplay data (streak count, high scores, mastery progress) is stored locally on your device using native storage (NSUserDefaults on iOS, SharedPreferences on Android). No account data is transmitted to our servers.

2. Game Center & Google Play Games

If you are signed in to Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), the app can submit your scores to leaderboards. Game Center is operated by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; Google Play Games is operated by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. We never receive your account name or contact details; we can only see leaderboard rankings as shown in those services.

3. No Advertising

Memory SoundX contains no ads on iOS or Android and includes no advertising SDKs. The apps do not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) and do not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission.

4. In-App Purchases

Memory SoundX Pro is sold through the App Store (processed by Apple) and Google Play (processed by Google Play Billing). We never see or store your payment details. The app only receives the store's confirmation of which Pro product is active on your account, which it uses on your device to unlock Pro features.

5. Analytics

From version 1.4.5, the iOS app uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service based in Germany, to understand how the game is played. It receives anonymous events (for example: a game ended with this score on this board size, a board was selected, the Pro screen was shown, a purchase completed with its plan, price and currency, or a restore finished), whether Pro is active, basic technical context (app version, iOS version, device model, language) and a salted, hashed device identifier that TelemetryDeck cannot reverse. It does not receive your name, email, Apple ID, location or advertising identifier, does not store IP addresses, and the data is never linked to you or used for tracking or advertising. The Android app and the website (memorysoundx.com) do not use analytics or cookies.

6. Fonts

The website and the Android app load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. As with any web request, Google receives your IP address when a font is downloaded; see Google's Google Fonts privacy FAQ. The iOS app uses fonts built into the app and iOS and makes no font requests.

7. No Tracking, No Selling

Memory SoundX does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell your data, and we do not share personal data with third parties for marketing.

8. Children

Memory SoundX does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. Game Center and Google Play Games are subject to Apple's and Google's protections for child accounts.

9. Data Deletion

All app data lives on your device. To delete it on iOS, go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Memory SoundX → Delete App. On Android, go to Settings → Apps → Memory SoundX → Storage → Clear Data. Leaderboard scores are managed by Apple (Settings → Game Center) and Google (the Google Play Games app).

10. GDPR (European Users)

We do not process personal data on our own servers. Game Center and App Store purchases are handled by Apple; Google Play Games, Google Play Billing and Google Fonts requests are handled by Google, each under its own privacy policy. 11. CCPA (California Residents)

We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
