Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026
Memory SoundX ("we", "our", "the app") is operated by Privedigital (Bundle ID:
com.privedigital.MemorySoundx). This policy explains what information is collected when
you use the Memory SoundX app and website, and how it is used.
1. No Account Required
Memory SoundX does not require you to create an account. You can play, track streaks, and accumulate scores entirely without registering. All gameplay data (streak count, high scores, mastery progress) is stored locally on your device in NSUserDefaults. No account data is transmitted to our servers.
2. Game Center
If you opt in to Apple Game Center (via iOS Settings), your scores are submitted to Apple's Game Center leaderboards under the identifiers:
com.privedigital.MemorySoundx.leaderboard.dailycom.privedigital.MemorySoundx.leaderboard.allTimecom.privedigital.MemorySoundx.leaderboard.weekly- Training Path leaderboards (beginner, pro, expert, legend)
Game Center data is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access your Game Center display name, Apple ID, or any other personal information associated with your Game Center account. Score submission is anonymous to us — we only see aggregated leaderboard rankings.
3. Advertising (Free Tier)
The free tier of Memory SoundX displays a single Google AdMob banner at the bottom of the main menu screen. No ads appear during gameplay. AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID) for ad targeting, subject to your device's "Limit Ad Tracking" or App Tracking Transparency (ATT) settings.
When you purchase Memory SoundX Pro, the banner is permanently removed and no ad SDK is active.
Google's data practices are described at: policies.google.com/privacy
4. In-App Purchases
All in-app purchases (Pro, Family Pack, Founders Pack) are processed exclusively by Apple via the App Store. We do not collect or store payment card information. Apple's transaction records are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We receive only a non-personal transaction receipt from StoreKit confirming a product was purchased.
5. Analytics (Website)
The Memory SoundX website (memorysoundx.com) may use privacy-preserving analytics (such as Plausible or Google Analytics 4 in cookie-less mode) to count page views and understand which pages are most visited. No personally identifiable information is collected. IP addresses are anonymized or not stored.
The iOS app does not include any third-party analytics SDK in v1.0 beyond what is described in sections 2 and 3 above.
6. No Cross-Site Tracking
Memory SoundX does not use cross-site or cross-app tracking. We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
7. iCloud Sync (Pro Tier)
Memory SoundX Pro enables iCloud sync for streak data, high scores, and mastery progress. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest. We cannot access your iCloud data. iCloud data handling is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
8. Children
Memory SoundX is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Game Center and advertising are subject to Apple's child privacy protections when enabled on Family Sharing accounts.
9. Data Deletion
To delete all local app data: on your iPhone, go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Memory SoundX → Delete App. This removes all local NSUserDefaults and app data from your device. To delete Game Center scores, contact Apple Support or manage via the Game Center app.
10. GDPR (European Users)
Under GDPR, the only personal data processed is:
- Google AdMob IDFA (with your ATT consent on iOS 14.5+)
- Apple Game Center pseudonymous score data (with your Game Center opt-in)
The legal basis for AdMob data processing is your explicit consent via Apple's ATT prompt. You may withdraw consent at any time via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iPhone.
11. CCPA (California Residents)
We do not sell personal information as defined by CCPA. The AdMob IDFA shared with Google for advertising constitutes a "sharing" under CCPA. California residents may opt out via the ATT setting described above, or by purchasing Memory SoundX Pro (which removes the ad banner entirely).
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
